Dishes for Wishes

Dishes for Wishes is a volunteer-driven campaign at participating area restaurants designed to raise funds, raise awareness, and celebrate the chapter's 25 years of granting children's wishes in Los Angeles County.

From now until August 25, volunteers will host Dishes for Wishes celebration nights at participating restaurants across Los Angeles County, where a portion of the evening's sales will go to help grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions, to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.

"We wanted to hold a fundraising campaign that was family-oriented and unique; allowed our volunteers to have flexibility in how the event was carried out; and that provided an acknowledgement of the wish-granting milestone our chapter has reached," said Tessa Bowser, the director of special events for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles. "We believe this activity incorporates all those aspects."

Click here to see the list of participating restaurants, their Dishes for Wishes donation dates, and the donation flyers to be downloaded, printed out and brought into the designated restaurants. The listings will be updated as new restaurants join the campaign.
