We are back from our trip! Eric and the rest of us had a wonderful time!
Everyone gave us the best treatment, and Eric felt very special. Each of the boys was given free access to the arcade games. That’s where we could be found every morning, after playing basketball and miniature golf.
When the clock struck 11:00, the limo arrived to pick up Jammie (pronounced Jamie) and her family. Jammie’s father and I teamed up to begin the morning photograph session of a very excited wish child. We headed out for the day and went straight to the Westfield Plaza in Eagle Rock.

Guadalupe is a sweet, friendly, brave and outgoing girl who exudes warmth and love. Friends and family call her Lupita for short. Born with a heart anomaly, Lupita, now 14 years old, has undergone heart surgery and has a pacemaker. When given the opportunity to wish for anything her heart desired, Lupe expressed she was so grateful to God for being alive.
When the day of Nicole’s wish arrived, she galloped out of her front door dressed in a Cinderella outfit. She looked beautiful in her sky blue dress. Her parents were beaming with pride and happiness.
I just wanted to say thank you once again. My family and I really enjoyed our trip to Florida. It was the best vacation ever. The Give Kids the World staff and volunteers really made us feel at home. My children and I loved all of the activities that were scheduled when we returned from the theme parks.
