I Wish to Have ... a Laptop Computer with all the Accessories
Belen’s wish was granted at an Olive Garden in the City of Downey. She was completely unaware that her most heartfelt wish would be granted on that day. Belen was under the impression that the wish granters from the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles were meeting with her to get more information about her wish for a laptop computer.
On Imari’s wish for a shopping spree, we headed out in the limo to our first destination, Best Buy, where we were greeted by the Best Buy team. They treated him like a king. They helped him with his purchase, a 42” LCD TV, and while we were at the store we got to check out the latest technology in 3D TVs!
I Wish to Have ... my comic book character, Brave Kid, brought to life
Chandler loves comic books!
When Chandler was in 2nd grade, he started drawing comic book characters. In 4th grade, he came up with his own superhero called Brave Kid.
Brave Kid wears a yellow and black costume and has no cape. Chandler has thought of many stories for Brave Kid and has also created Brave Kid's archenemy, an evil scientist.
This trip has been an amazing experience for Adam (and the whole family).
From the moment the Make-A-Wish volunteers came to visit us the first time, to when we rode in a limousine back home from our trip, everything was filled with thought, sensitivity, attention to details, generosity and most of all making Adam feel important and special.
We sincerely thank you for granting Jakob’s wish to train dolphins and for our trip to Orlando, Florida in October. Our trip was terrific, seamless and one that our family will never forget. Our entire family enjoyed it – even Jakob’s 6-month-old brother, John.
